Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Pay: $14.00 an hour or based on education and/or experience plus shift differential and holiday pay
Days: Monday through Friday
Hours: 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. (NIGHTS)
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two years experience with data entry
- Type 50 wpm
- At least 10,000 KSPH on 10-key
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to work under stressful conditions
- Flexibility to work unscheduled or long hours as well as various shift hours in response to a crisis or special blood needs
- Possess reliable transportation and a working telephone
Primary Responsibilities:
To perform all functions and tasks needed to maintain the Donor Services Information Subsystem. Perform Donor Registration Form (DRF's) entry for whole blood and apheresis collections on both donors and patients. Maintain donor and patient update information when changes are requested from outside sources as well as other departments within the organization. Perform duplicate donor checks on all entries. Enter deferrals and assign and post the correct deferral code(s) with the effective and eligibility dates into the donor record. Archive addresses and phone numbers as necessary. File Donor Registration Forms (DRF's) as assigned. Look up Addresses using the USPS website to complete address information. Enter DRF's as Lot Release No when indicated by Record Review Specialist staff. Enter DRF's as Lot Release No as certain errors are identified during the entry process.
