Our Blood Institute is seeking a Contact Center Donor Care Specialist focused on enhancing donor engagement through rebooking existing donors and forming partnerships with local businesses. The role involves scheduling appointments with past donors, coordinating donation campaigns with local companies, and promoting blood donation within the community. Success in this role will help ensure a steady supply of life-saving blood donations for our local hospitals and community members.
Location: Tulsa, OK - Hybrid: (Work from Home & On Site)
Pay: $15.00 an hour or based on education and/or experience; $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year!
Days: Monday through Friday
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Position:
This position requires working in a donor center at Our Blood Institute in Tulsa, with standard office hours and occasional evening or weekend shifts as needed. Outreach involves primarily phone and digital communication, with occasional in-person visits to local businesses.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in communications, marketing, or public relations is a plus.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to provide MVR with zero points and no moving or traffic violations in the past 3 years
- Experience in a call center, customer service, or donor recruitment environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect and build rapport with diverse groups.
- Proficiency with CRM software and data tracking systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet or exceed targets.
- Passion for community service and a commitment to promoting the importance of blood donation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Donor Booking:
- Engage with previous blood donors through outbound calls, emails, and text messages to schedule their next donation.
- Utilize donor history and preferences to personalize outreach, emphasize the impact of regular donations on community health.
- Meet daily rebooking targets, focusing on maximizing appointment rates and donor satisfaction.
Community Partnership Development:
- Identify, reach out, and establish relationships with local businesses, encouraging them to participate in group donation drives.
- Coordinate with business representatives to schedule employee donation events at the Tulsa Blood Center.
- Communicate the benefits of blood donation for community health, providing companies with resources and support to promote blood drives internally.
Data and Communication Management:
- Track outreach efforts, scheduled appointments, and donor engagement metrics in our CRM system.
- Provide timely follow-up and support to business partners, ensuring seamless experience for participating organizations and their employees.
- Report on donor rebooking and business partnership outcomes, identifying areas for improvement.
Customer Service:
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy during interactions, addressing donor inquiries and overcoming barriers to donation.
- Act as a resource for donors, guiding them through the donation process and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Uphold the blood center's mission and values in every interaction, promoting trust and goodwill within the community.
