Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: $36.00 an hour or based on experience and $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year!
Days and Hours: Varied (PRN)
Position:
Provide therapeutic apheresis therapies to patients in an effective manner as set forth by regulatory agencies and medical oversight.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Minimum one year clinical experience
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekend, holidays, and call responsibility
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain positive professional relationship with other healthcare professionals
- Ability to work with technical equipment
Special Physical Requirements:
- Moderate lifting - 20-50 lbs.
Require Licenses, Certifications:
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse licensure. Apheresis/phlebotomy experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform therapeutic apheresis procedures. To include, but not limited to plasma exchange, therapeutic cytapheresis, photopheresis, immunoabsorption therapy, red cell exchange and therapeutic phlebotomy
- Perform HPC and MNC collections
- Documentation of procedure and patient response in hospital and Institute charts
- Communication with Institute medical administration, supervisor, attending physician, and hospital patient care staff regarding patient procedure
- Perform assigned 24-hour call to include evening, weekend, and holiday hours
