Accountable for providing patient centered care and operational support to the medical team to ensure an optimal patient experience. Coordinates activities in the clinical areas and facilitates a smooth patient flow. Assists with patient care, i.e., exams, procedures, and patient education. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants required. At least three or more years of experience in a hospital or medical clinic setting. One year in gynecologic health or oncology preferred. Proof of current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) as required by CMS attestation. Medical Assistant Certification must be kept active/current for employment at OCSRI. Current CPR certification required.
