Under general supervision, assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a medical environment that may include medical oncology, radiation oncology, diagnostic imaging, or gynecologic oncology. Help facilitate and maintain efficient patient flow, assist with patient care, i.e., exams, minor procedures, and patient education. Performs miscellaneous clinic support tasks including filing, answering phones, and maintaining physician schedule. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants required. At minimum of three (3) or more years’ experience in a hospital or medical clinic setting. Proof of current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) as required by CMS attestation (must be completed within 90 days of hire if not current). Medical Assistant Certification must be kept active/current for employment at OCSRI. Current CPR certification is required. Excellent customer service is required.
Starting salary: $15/hr. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors
