Under the supervision of the staff medical physicists, a Medical Physics Assistant (MPA) is responsible for the design, optimization, initial technical evaluation, and precise and accurate delivery of radiation treatment Quality Assurance (QA) plans. The MPA may participate in clinical duties beyond this as instructed and supervised by the physics department. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in physics, mathematics, engineering, computer science or related science degree is required. Prior experience in medical physics is preferred. Minimum one to three years of experience in clinical radiation physics preferred. Experience and utilization of software programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams are required.
