About us:
We are a new psychological practice looking for a detail-oriented and organized office assistant to manage client accounts and schedules.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in medical/dental/psychological practices to be considered.
As the first face our families will see, we require an individual who will give the best possible impression of our business by being polished, friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging to all families.
The ideal candidate will be able to balance the detail-oriented, scheduling and financial aspects comfortably while also being able to listen compassionately, offer assistance, answer questions, and resolve matters amicably. A customer-driven mentality and a positive, encouraging, team-minded attitude are a must.
The candidate should be focused, able to openly communicate with team members, and have the willingness to learn and retain information given to them.
This position is in-office Monday through Friday. The position is approximately 40 hours per week.
We are looking for someone who appreciates the value of quality customer service and has no problem explaining complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet families and answer phone calls
- Manage referrals
- Scheduling assessment/therapy sessions
- Organizing meetings
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
Educational Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate or Bachelors in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or business-related field (Preferred)
Qualifications
- Experience with electronic health record systems and billing software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Initiative and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience:
- Previous Office Experience in Medical Setting: 2 years (Required)

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
