What You Will Do in Your Role:
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of various HVAC equipment, including split systems, package units, centrifugal chillers, and cooling towers
- Shadow experienced technicians, learning about refrigeration cycles, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance
- Learn how to use tools and equipment such as manifold gauges, pressure/temperature charts, and temperature measuring devices under the guidance of senior technicians
- Assist with general maintenance tasks on heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
- Support with diagnosing and correcting issues related to HVAC systems, gaining knowledge on how each component functions
- Participate in team projects and potentially lead small tasks as you develop your skills
- Learn the importance of safety protocols and adhere to company standards
- A strong desire to learn and grow in the HVAC industry
- A willingness to work hard, take direction, and be proactive in supporting the team
- Basic knowledge or interest in refrigeration cycles and HVAC systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Motivated and eager to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the team's success
- Currently enrolled in an HVAC or related program or a recent graduate looking to gain real-world experience
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
- Ability to lift equipment and perform physical tasks as needed
- Valid driver's license
