Position: Reporting to the Information Technology Department, the individual selected for this position will support University Event functions. This position is a full-time position with office hours and evenings/weekends as agreed upon by the Director of Events.
Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Communications/Media or related experience is required.

Primary Responsibilities
- The Technical Director oversees any and all technical operation and maintenance for University Events including lights, sets, sound and video, to include but not limited to:
- Conference Center Events
- University Events, 3rd Party Events and Conferences
- Music Department Performances (plays, musicals, concerts, and ceremonies)
- Various University Productions
- First Week Follies
- Freshman Fanfare
- Spring Sing
- Speaker Series and Lectures
- Daily Chapel
- Lighting of the Commons
- Graduation
- Outdoor Concerts/Productions
- The Technical director supervises student employees that aid in executing technical operations.
- Manage events scheduling from the University software tools including: Events Management System, ZenDesk, Planning Pod, and others.
- Manage the student workers schedules to meet event schedules needs and student class schedules.
- Manage chapel scheduling for student workers and tech needs as needed.
- The Technical Director will manage all equipment and technical procedures in the Meinders Conference Center, Baugh Auditorium, Judd Theater, Adams Recital Hall, Scott Chapel and all portable equipment.
