Description
The Clerk of the Board performs administrative duties coordinating and publishing the agendas for Oklahoma County Boards, Trusts, and Commissions meetings. This job role acts as official recordkeeper for assigned boards. Must possess or have ability to maintain proficient knowledge of meeting automation software (Legistar and LiveManager) to compile agenda information, record voting activities, and capture meeting minutes. Manages and supplies internal and external parties with all information pertaining to public meeting bodies of Oklahoma County. May assist with training internal and external customers on policies and procedures.


Experience

Possess 4-6 years of experience in an administrative support role;
Skills and Abilities to:
  • Take official notes of meeting proceedings and to prepare meeting minutes /records to document actions taken.
  • Develop cooperative relationships internally and externally.
  • Adapts well in a fast-paced environment and with change.
  • Organize and plan work to meet deadlines, track and outline job details, and successfully complete work tasks.
  • Exercise judgement within defined guidelines and practices.
  • Become knowledgeable about and follow Oklahoma County’s safety policies and procedures, and immediately report accidents, unusual occurrences, or safety related incidents appropriately.
  • Work independently and in cross-functional groups.

Education Required

Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and training. Specialized training in official meeting procedures, recording of minutes, and/or meeting management software preferred.

Salary: $3,950.00 / month

Hours per Week: 40

Work Days: Mon - Fri

Work Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
