Are you a Pre-Dental student at University of Oklahoma looking to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting? This internship offers the opportunity to learn essential sterilization techniques and contribute to patient safety in a real-world oral surgery environment. This is a part time position with flexible start dates in the spring with potential for increased hours in the summer.

Role and Responsibilities
As a Sterilization Technician Intern, you will assist in the processing and sterilization of dental instruments, gaining valuable experience in infection control and clinical operations. Responsibilities include :
- Collecting used instruments and equipment for decontamination
- Manually cleaning supplies to remove contaminants
- Operating and maintaining sterilization and decontamination equipment
- Preparing and packaging instruments for sterilization
- Inspecting instruments to ensure proper sanitation
- Organizing and delivering instruments for procedures
- Monitoring and documenting sterilization procedures and equipment maintenance
- Assisting with inventory and supply management
- Supporting the clinical team with additional tasks as needed
