This position is assigned to the Mobile Offices and is responsible for providing social services to children and adults in communities on the Mobile Offices. Duties include evaluating needs, assisting clients through problem resolution, making referrals to other service organizations, and completing eligibility determinations for various social service and assistance programs. Providing guidance and assistance regarding laws, policies, and procedures related to social safety net programs.

- a master’s degree
- or a bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of experience in professional social work
- I have a Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of experience in professional social work
- or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one (1) year of experience in professional social work for each year of the bachelor’s degree
- or three (3) years of experience as a Family Services Specialist

Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate the needs of individuals and families to obtain information for processing and completing eligibility determinations within established rules and guidelines; and completes necessary case documentation
- Participates in staff conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings for the purpose of determining successful pathways for client success in reaching their individual goals and achieving self-sufficiency
- Establish, engage, and grow positive and effective community partnerships with interested members of the public, service providers and vendors in a supportive and teamwork-oriented professional manner; works effectively with partners to serve shared customers while maintaining confidentiality
- Preference may be given to candidate who is bilingual and aCDL is preferred, but not required for this position
