Minimum Qualifications:
Griffin Memorial Hospital, located in Norman, OK, is a 120-bed acute psychiatric facility operated by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS). GMH provides inpatient treatment for adults aged 18 with severe mental illness and substance use disorders. We proudly serve all 77 counties across Oklahoma.

- Participating in de-escalation and safety-related activities
- Acting as a positive role model and supporting healthy decision-making
- Assisting with recreational and therapeutic programming
- Transporting residents to and from medical appointments
- Ensuring daily schedules and routines are followed
- Shift Availability: All shifts available
- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
- Pay Rate: $24.00/hour (MHT I)
- Shift Differentials: Additional pay for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Hours: Up to 30 hours per week / maximum of 999 hours per year
Earn more with our generous shift differentials, applied on top of base pay for work during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum Qualifications:
- No previous experience or education required for MHT I

Upon a conditional job offer, applicants must:
- Pass a physical exam
- Be able to occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Be able to push/pull up to 25 pounds of force
- This is a safety-sensitive position
- Applicants must pass a drug and alcohol screening (urinalysis) before appointment
