What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Coordinator position at Oklahoma Health Professionals Program?
Specific Responsibilities:
- Provides direct staff support to the Oklahoma Health Professionals Program (OHPP) Manager.
- Provides direct staff support to the OHPP President and OHPP Board, including meeting logistics, preparation of meeting agendas, minutes and follow up of appropriate action items.
- Provides oversight of daily operations of the OHPP including communication with OHPP current and future participants, OHPP database, attendance records and other administrative files.
- Serves as staff liaison to provide appropriate administrative support for the OHPP Director and Associate Directors in relation to their duties and responsibilities for the OHPP.
- Works with the Directors to communicate with participants regarding recommended treatment programs, maintaining timely communication with treatment facilities, and communication of appropriate facility discharge recommendations.
- Manages appropriate contact information and obtains appropriate confidentiality releases for participants in the OHPP entering necessary information into the database in a timely manner.
- Oversees the tracking for individual treatment plan compliance, including compliance with recommended therapy and psychiatric visits and attendance records for required meetings to ascertain and ensure compliance.
- Assists with 360-degree compliance reporting for disruptive physician participants.
- Monitors compliance by OHPP participants daily and notifies Directors and/or participants in a timely manner regarding any non-compliance issues. Reviews vacation and medication requests by participants. Make case notes as needed for each participant.
- Works with appropriate licensing boards/agencies, associations, insurance companies, hospitals, and clinics in providing information, advocacy letters and/or monthly and/or quarterly progress reports for program participants as approved by the Directors in a timely manner.
- Represents OHPP at statewide conferences and other meetings to educate providers about the program.
- Maintains a working knowledge of responsibilities of other OHPP staff including appropriate cross-training as necessary.
- Prepares monthly billing for program fees and services provided to participants and monitors payments received.
- Arranges for supplies, refreshments, etc. for any required participant meetings.
Requirements:
- HS Diploma required; College degree preferred.
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
- Must have good communication skills, be self-directed, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in a non-profit association, fundraising, chemical dependency treatment or healthcare environment desirable.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
