Responsibilities Clinical Informatics Analyst The Clinical Informatics Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between healthcare professionals and information technology by ensuring the seamless integration of clinical information systems into everyday healthcare operations. This role is essential to optimizing the functionality of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and improving patient care delivery. As a key liaison between clinical staff (including nurses, doctors, and support personnel) and the IT department, this position ensures that EHR systems are user-friendly, efficient, and tailored to clinical needs. Key Responsibilities : Coordinate and integrate clinical information technology into daily healthcare practices to enhance workflow and patient outcomes. Serve as a resource to troubleshoot and resolve EHR-related issues for clinical staff, collaborating with IT and application teams. Provide orientation, training, and ongoing education to end users on EHR functionalities, ensuring effective use and adoption. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement, support, and optimize clinical informatics applications, focusing on enhancing patient care delivery. Participate in the development, implementation, and support of EHR systems in collaboration with IT, clinical, and operational departments. Assist in managing and analyzing clinical data, using it to identify trends, improve workflows, and support clinical decision-making processes. Develop and deliver training materials, presentations, and instructional content on clinical informatics topics, adapting to staff needs and learning styles. Conduct regular audits of clinical data and systems, identifying opportunities for improvement. Analyze the impact of new clinical processes, technologies, and informatics tools on patient care. Support the development and implementation of clinical decision support tools to aid in evidence-based care. Qualifications Qualifications : Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting. Associate degree in nursing, Clinical Informatics, or a related field preferred. 2 years of experience with Epic or other Electronic Health Record systems is preferred. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret clinical data and informatics trends. Certifications and Licenses : Clinical Informatics certification is preferred, with completion required within 6 months of hire.
