Responsibilities
Position Summary: Provide quality and professional EMT care for patients in office. Be available to respond to emergency situations when necessary.
Essential Functions:
- Perform emergency care to patients when necessary. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with standards
- Adhere to Motor Vehicle Safety Policy
- Administer or assist with injections, phlebotomy and IV starts on patients
- Perform stress testing in accordance with protocol
- Monitor patient for arrhythmia, blood pressure, ECG changes, and report findings
- Respond appropriately during cardiac arrest situations by utilizing necessary ACLS knowledge and skills
- Maintain and review patient records, charts and other pertinent information. Post tests and examination results
- Participate in professional development and maintain professional affiliations
- Skill in maintaining record and recording test results
- Assist patients with ambulatory difficulties
- Knowledge of emergency procedures. Ability to respond quickly and efficiently in an emergency situation
- Adhere to Radiation Safety Guidelines as required by OK DEQ
Qualifications
Education: High School graduate or equivalent required. Graduated from an accredited Paramedic training school.
Licensure/Certification: Re Possession of an Oklahoma Paramedic license. Current BLS certification required. Current ACLS certification required
Experience: One (1) year of professional Paramedic experienc Cardiology experience preferred.
