Responsibilities
Performs remote interrogations of pacemakers, defibrillators, implantable loop recorders, wearable defibrillators, and cardiac contractility modulation (CCM) devices using device company websites and clinic software. Responsible for scheduling appointments, following up with patients on missed transmissions, importing reports, inputting data in the proper systems and preparing reports for the physician and the billing department.
Qualifications
Education: High School graduate or equivalent required. Heart rhythm monitor experience preferred. Previous medical assistant experience or graduate of an accredited medical assistant program preferred.
Licensure/Certification: BLS certification required within six (6) months of hire.
Experience: One (1) plus year of clinical experience preferred in the role of Medical Assistant, LPN, certified EKG Technician or CRAT certified position.
