Minimum Qualifications
- Education and experience required at this leave consists of a bachelors’ degree and six (6) years of accounting and/or auditing experience.
Job Duties
- The audit manager supervises a staff of three internal auditors and is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of audits performed by staff.
- Oversees complete process of audits. Prior to submission of draft reports, reviews staff workpapers to ensure findings and conclusions are supported and documented in accordance with unit standards and with no material errors. Evaluates recommendations to be included in the report.
- Ensures audit objectives are met by approving effective audit programs submitted by staff, and subsequent procedures are understood and followed by instructing and monitoring staff performance in accordance with applicable audit standards, policy, contracts, and schedules.
- Serves as primary point of contact for audited entities and their respective division partners during the audit process.
