MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of the curriculum requirements for a bachelor's degree and (4) years of direct experience in an OKDHS program division or managing a technology environment.
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

There are 3 positions as a Product Owner for the Administration Services team:

  • P102782 will focus predominantly on General Finance and Human Resource technology.
  • P104113 will focus predominantly on Support Services and Office of Inspector General technology.
  • P104111 will focus predominantly on Payment Process technology.

A Product Owner assists in developing and administering all phases of work related to technology products offered and consumed in the assigned portfolio of Human Resources, Legal, and General Finance, which includes Procurement, Budget, and Cost Allocation. Under general direction, the position is responsible for the success of the product or portfolio in their scope.

Current technology in Administration Services includes a wide array of product types, such as: Oracle Cloud products, PeopleSoft Financials, AS400, Workday, IVA, power applications, legacy case management systems, and much more. In addition to the current product portfolio, we are pursuing new product development, and enhancement of our current products, to better suit agency needs. Upcoming new developments will include a comprehensive payment solution for payees, a trust account management solution, cardless SNAP payments, and asset management and onboarding solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and define project requirements, scope, objectives, and budget

  • Create and maintain project documentation, including business requirement documents

  • Work closely with project team members, managers and leads to help deliver major agency projects efficiently

  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships

  • Ensure products support agency strategic goals and budget encouraging efficient use of resources and accountability over resources

  • Provide system administration support for business products

  • Manage necessary product licenses

  • Manage the modernization, documentation, and road mapping for applications in your portfolio

  • Provide technology service delivery including applications, data storage and other business resources

  • Oversee creation and delivery of division training materials for implemented products

  • Produce analytics and reporting

  • Build and maintain vendor relationships

  • Identify data integrations

  • Assess and address risks and issues

  • Lead cross-agency collaboration and cross-training

  • Provide cross-project communication/participation

  • Possess Business Analyst soft skills

  • Utilize market research to gain product awareness in order to meet customers’ needs

  • Assist with oversight, training, and development of product owner associates

Preference may be given to applicants who have finance, human resources, and/or legal experience.
