What You Will Do
Analyze trends and evaluate statistics to compile recommendations for measurement system process improvements.
Develop and conduct third-party audits of measurement data and related processes.
Lead a team of measurement personnel and assist with measurement process analysis functions.
Interact with direct and indirect reports, corporate personnel, regional personnel, public officials, contractors, customers, and vendors on issues including measurement activities, usage, billing, equipment selection, conservation, and employee issues.
Monitor, review, develop, and prepare information including :
- Lost and unaccounted for gas reports
- Imbalance calculations
- Benchmarking comparisons
- Responses to regulatory agencies
- Educational material for regulatory agencies
- Audit summaries
- Prior period adjustment reports
- Budget reports
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
What You Will Need
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business administration, management, or related field with previous experience in management of field operations, OR an equivalent combination of formal education and job-related experience.
Experience with and thorough knowledge of natural gas distribution or transmission operations.
Experience evaluating various forms of measurement data.
Experience with application of math and algebraic formulas.
Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software.
Experience and training related to :
Experience reading, analyzing, and understanding operations manuals, measurement data, regulatory documents, contracts, legal documents, industry publications, government regulations, and company policies and procedures.
Experience composing and preparing internal and external correspondence, budgets, department reports, status reports, company standards, instructional diagrams and written procedures, and employee information.
Experience leading, directing, supervising, and training.
Experience interacting, advising, negotiating, and communicating effectively.
Experience preparing information, conducting meetings, and making presentations.
Read and write fluently in English.
Applicable driver's license for travel to office locations.
Mobility to travel in and around plant and office facilities and around job sites
Communicate and exchange information; conduct oral presentations.
Visual abilities to perform job responsibilities.
