Oklahoma Pediatric Therapy Center, believes strongly in teamwork and it is our goal to work together with families to help each child to achieve their goals and reach their full potential. We provide speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and behavioral services.
Pediatric Occupational Therapist Assistant Job Description:
This is an opportunity for a therapist who wants to work with clients in a private practice setting with an amazing team! You will have the opportunity to work with the pediatric population and their families and will focus on the diagnosis and treatment of a range of neuro-developmental disorders. We encourage learning and development and offer a supportive, collaborative work environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS for the Pediatric Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Associates level degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Oklahoma State License: COTA
- Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
- Basic computer skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS the Pediatric Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Experience working in pediatrics
- Experience working with clients with developmental disorders
Occupational Therapist Assistant Responsibilities
- Communicate with physicians and other health care providers to confirm plans of care
- Advise family members and other supportive individuals about the level of care the patient needs
- Provide occupational therapy guidance, support and education during patient sessions
- Generate reports for patients and their physicians and families
