1. Responsibilities for supporting the OSBI databases and ensuring their performance, availability, and security. This includes rollout, upgrades, and patch implementation management.
2. Design and document database schemas in conjunction with the development team. Ensures compliance to ITS database standards.
3. On a daily basis, proactively monitor the database system to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
4. Responsible for database backups and recovery planning in conjunction with ITS management.
5. Responsible for implementation and release of database changes as submitted by the development team.
6. Trouble shoot minor network and Application problems as needed.
