Responsible to perform duties related to checking-in/out patients, scheduling patient appointments, call confirmations, verifying insurance while maintaining accuracy and compliance with departmental policies and State/Federal regulations.

Possible exposure to hazardous materials, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.
Physical Requirements:

Position Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly the MS Office Suite, with a focus on Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Skilled in typing and data entry, with a solid understanding of medical terminology.
- Capable of managing phone communications while maintaining attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Strong customer service abilities, demonstrating professionalism and effective interpersonal communication with patients and medical personnel.
- Experienced in collaborative team settings, knowledgeable about HIPAA regulations, and adaptable to new processes as needed.
- Some college or technical school in a related field or six months related job experience.
- Experience with EMR system (EPIC).
