Job Description
Individuals within this job classification under the supervision of the registered nurse assist the nurse and/or the physician in caring for patients in the endoscopy setting. Responsibilities include cleaning and routine maintenance of equipment used in endoscopy. Responsible to process and disinfect endoscopes and accessories to the infection control standards of the endoscopy unit. He/she is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
Requirements
High school or GED preferred
BLS required
1-3 years experience preferred
