Job Description
The ER Registration Lead is responsible for the daily operations of the ER Registration area and has 24-hour accountability. The primary focus of this position is to ensure accounts are registered in a timely manner with correct information, authorizations are requested and received in a timely manner. Ensure the team is collecting cash daily, and ensure accounts have proper billing information. Duties include, but are not limited to, training employees, conducting re-training sessions, reviewing competencies with staff, implementing policy and procedure changes, monitoring work to ensure quality and service standards are met, implementing performance improvement initiatives, and other duties as assigned. In addition, the supervisor staffs the area a minimum of 50% of the work hours to stay abreast of procedures, changes, and needs within the department. The ER Registration Lead should demonstrate technical expertise and leadership qualities and hold an Associate degree in Administrative Management or have the equivalent of job experience.
