What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist - PRN position at Oklahoma State University Medical Center?
Job Description
Under the guidance of the Manager of Rehab Medicine, and level II and III Physical Therapists, the level I Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of the patient's needs following disability, injury, disease or amputation, to help attain a maximum level of independence and performance. The therapist plans treatment programs and administers modalities and other related procedures, under the prescription of the patient's physician. Treatment will be provided in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. He/she is responsible for documentation and communication of all necessary information to all appropriate parties. The therapist is responsible for care of patients in all patient care areas of OSU Medical Center, as situation requires. The therapist may also supervise Physical Therapist Assistants. The therapist must follow standards of performance for Physical Therapy as established by all governing bodies. He/she also performs other duties as required.
Requirements
Graduate Degree in Physical Therapy preferred
Valid State of Oklahoma PT License and BLS required
New Graduates will be considered
