Job Summary: | Repair and maintain all interior and exterior electrical systems and equipment, including panel boards, breakers, and fuses, as well as fire and security systems, public address systems, lighting, and mechanical and HVAC equipment. |

Position Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications: High School/GED Four years of prior successful work experience in the building trades or technical field OR Two years post-secondary education in the building trades or technical field WITH two years of prior successful work experience in the building trades or technical field Must have knowledge of commercial, industrial and/or residential electric Bending conduit, industrial electronics, all types of lighting systems and controls. Have before hire and maintain after hire, a valid driver's license. A valid Driver's License must be maintained for the operation of an OSU vehicle, which is required in the performance of job duties as assigned. Knowledge of National Electric Code. Ability to interpret blueprints and schematic drawings. Ability to become proficient in the use of AiM Computerized Maintenance management system (CMMS) software and the use of mobile technology. Preferred Qualifications: Vocational/Technical Two years of post-secondary education in the building trades WITH three years of prior successful work experience involving electrical maintenance, motor repair, electronics, troubleshooting controls and other electrical maintenance in the building trades or technical field. |
