What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Counselor-Sr Clinical Counselor: Crisis (10 month appt) position at Oklahoma State University?
The Crisis Counselor position at University Counseling Services is an integral part of the UCS team. The primary goal is to provide crisis / emergency intervention to students who are in emotional distress and need immediate supportive services.
The staff member will perform administrative duties, provide emergency / crisis intervention, provide consultation to members of the university community, provide educational outreach programs, and periodically have the opportunity to supervise practicum and intern graduate students.
Position requires some evening and weekend work, including on-call emergency stand-by after regular office hours and on weekends.
Note : This is an annual 10 month full-time appointment : August 1st thru May 31st.
