Job Summary:
This position will collaborate closely with the Clinic Outreach and Credentialing Administrator to facilitate the credentialing process for new providers and the renewal of credentials for existing providers with both commercial and governmental insurance companies. The role will also involve working alongside clinic administrators and the Clinic Outreach and Credentialing Administrator to assist clinics in obtaining hospital privileges. Additionally, the Credentialing Specialist will engage with department leadership to address credentialing requirements and respond to inquiries from physicians, staff, and supervisors. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed. A strong commitment to teamwork is essential.

Education & Experience
Position Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in multi-specialty-provider credentialing encompassing government, commercial and other insurance products, with increasing responsibility during that time period, or related experience.
- Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) Certification or equivalent experience
- Valid Driver's License
Skills, Knowledge, and Proficiencies:
- Strong analytical abilities are essential for this role, along with outstanding communication and organizational skills.
- The candidate should be capable of working independently, juggling various tasks, and adhering to deadlines.
- Leadership, effective communication, customer service, multitasking, and computer proficiency are crucial, along with experience collaborating with both clinical and financial support teams. Teamwork is a must.
Preferred:
- Associate's degree
- Prefer six (6) years of experience in multi-specialty provider credentialing encompassing government, commercial and other insurance products.
