Interiors Planning / Production :
Determine appropriate materials based upon budget, university standards, and conditions.
Research and investigate products to determine usability, adaptability, and compatibility of products in the project.
Must be capable of formulating a design plan, code review, and it’s order of magnitude estimated cost for projects in the range of $80,000 – $250,000.
Graphic Design and Presentation :
Prepare perspectives by CADD or conventional methods and assemble color finish boards for the purpose of illustrating design concepts.
Assemble presentation boards, binders or electronic media for project fund-raising purposes and special events.
Research standards and selection criteria for aesthetic and functional compliance for recommended adoption.
Management of resource center for interior furnishing and finishes :
Review products and consult with manufacturer’s consultants or sales representatives.
Request samples and update description literature.
Maintain and up-to- date organized library of movable equipment, fixed equipment, materials, and finishes.
