What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Expeditor (Warehouse Procurement Services) position at Oklahoma State University?
This position is responsible for maintaining high quality front-line customer service to employees and other guests who visit or contact Procurement Services (PS). Demonstrate initiative to ensure customers are always served quickly and accurately. Ensures exceptional customer service is provided to walk-in traffic, email inquiries, and in-bound phone calls.
1. Generate inventory orders in AiM to restock PS warehouse
2. Work with vendors and customers to locate parts needed based off discontinued items, lead times, pricing, vendor issues, etc.
3. Maintain pcard for stock order payment
4. Review pcard transactions to update, check accuracy, and clear
5. Research, resolve, and track inventory ordering issues
6. Coordinate special stock order requests for customers
7. Partner with Inventory Control Analyst to support inventory needs as a team
8. Inventory Control Analyst strategizes for future warehouse needs and will request support as required
9. All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Four years of related experience with purchasing, inventory management, financial, expediting product/services, quality control and/or customer service.
Have before hire and maintain after hire a valid driver's license. A valid driver's license must be maintained for the operation of an OSU vehicle, which is required in the performance of job duties as assigned.
Must possess impeccable customer service skills, including excellent and demonstrated oral and written communication skills that will ensure information and requests are accurate.
Must possess strong planning skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency to follow-through. Ability to coordinate and organize activities, set priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
Strong knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
Solid mathematical skills, proof-reading, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Intrinsically motivated and proactive self-starter who can establish goals and relying on experience, judgment, and teamwork to accomplish goals. Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
Capable of functioning in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure, and prioritize workloads.
Must be able to interact effectively in a team environment with a variety of individuals and personalities within and between departments. Must be dependable and punctual as attendance is critical.
Ability to become proficient in the use of "AiM" Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software and the use of mobile technology.
Must work safely and promote a safe environment.
