What are the responsibilities and job description for the Park Ranger position at Oklahoma State University?
This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while patrolling and performing various tasks to protect, maintain, monitor, and repair the lands, campgrounds, and day-use areas of Lake Carl Blackwell. The employees will interact daily with customers to address problems, and they should maintain a positive presence throughout the lake area. Additionally, this role involves checking fee boxes in the park, reading electrical meters for monthly billing, and performing safety checks on fire extinguishers and fire alarms in all LCB Buildings.

Required Qualifications:
High School/GED and one year of customer service experience.
Must become certified in standard first aid and CPR within three months of hire date.
Carry out work assigned; establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, community service workers, volunteers and the public; communicate effectively; interpret and enforce park rules and regulations; basic computer skills; safely operate motor vehicles and manual and power tools (mowers, blowers, weed eaters, gators, tractors and chain saws); general maintenance/carpentry work; experience with launching and operating a boat; valid driver's license required.
