What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacist position at Oklahoma State University?
This position will be in charge within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital Dispensary, including oversight of all Dispensary operations while maintaining compliance to state and federal statutes and regulations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Analyzing prescriptions for correct drug, dose, route of administration, directions, labeling for species and diagnosed condition, and identifying possible drug interactions. Making corrections and changes in consultation with the prescriber to ensure best possible outcomes. This position will also supervise pharmacy technician(s) and must have the ability to provide consultations and information to clients regarding pharmacy-related activities within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
