Research Engineering Faculty Position :
The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CIVE) at Oklahoma State University is pleased to invite applications for one (1) career-track Research Faculty position in the area of Concrete Materials Engineering. Title and rank will be determined appropriate to the academic qualifications and experience of the candidate.
Successful candidates will work with other faculty to develop a strong externally funded research program. The School is especially interested in candidates that can collaborate strategically with current expertise within the department, college, and state. Candidates with research and teaching interests in all areas of concrete materials will be considered. The successful candidate must have an academic background to complete the research and have a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
Oklahoma State University is located in Stillwater, Oklahoma, approximately 60 miles from both Oklahoma City and Tulsa. The School currently has 17 faculty members, 280 undergraduate students, and 50 graduate students. The School is a unique blend of teaching and research excellence. Research expenditures are approximately $150,000 per faculty member. The OSU Civil Engineering program has undergone a major expansion through the construction of new offices and classrooms, as well as the Endeavor Lab. The Endeavor Lab is a 72,000 sf interdisciplinary undergraduate laboratory opened in the fall semester of 2018.

Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. or equivalent in Civil and Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field. Successful candidates will be expected to develop an externally funded research program, to develop collaborations within and external to the University, and to demonstrate strong oral and written communications skills.
