As a full-time PAT Unit Secretary, you will work Monday - Friday, 8a - 4 : 30p . This position qualifies for our full benefits package as well as our rewarding quarterly bonuses!
The Unit Secretary is responsible for performing the clerical, receptionist, and coordination functions of the unit to support nursing, medical staff, and providers. Greets patients, family and visitors, communicates with offices and outside healthcare agencies in an effort to provide optimum patient outcomes.
What’s required of you? High School diploma or equivalent. Current BLS required.
Do I need experience? Experience in the medical field as a unit secretary or office support staff in a hospital or medical office setting preferred.
Specialty Knowledge Skills : Cognitive, communication, clerical, organizational, interpersonal skills required. Strong clerical and computer sills including the ability to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate the activities occurring in the unit.
