Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to those with developmental disabilities. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurse and physicians, ensuring that clients receive the best possible care while maintaining their dignity and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Assist with daily living activities for patients, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility support.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as pointclickcare
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement client's individual health plans.
- Educate clients about health management
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care is highly desirable.
- Strong laboratory skills, including phlebotomy techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
