Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Marine Biologist to inspire the children of the schools we work with. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine science and a commitment to the conservation and study of marine ecosystems. This role involves conducting lessons aimed at understanding marine life and habitats.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology, Zoology, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.
- Experience in scientific research methodologies relevant to marine biology.
- Knowledge of animal handling techniques, including animal restraint practices.
- Familiarity with veterinary care principles as they relate to marine species is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical writing and public engagement activities.
- A passion for marine conservation and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
