We are seeking an experienced Applied Mathematician to join our team, focusing on the development and implementation of AI / ML algorithms and computer vision models for UAS and drone platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied mathematics, algorithm development, and be proficient in Python and C .
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement advanced algorithms for computer vision, image processing, and AI / ML systems in support of UAS and drone applications.
- Design and optimize machine learning models for target tracking, object detection, navigation, and autonomous flight.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers and scientists to enhance UAS capabilities, leveraging sensor data and edge processing.
- Apply mathematical models to simulate, analyze, and predict drone behavior in real-time operational environments.
- Conduct data analysis and machine learning experiments to support autonomous guidance and decision-making in challenging environments (e.g., GPS-denied, adversarial scenarios).
- Support the development of AI-enhanced autonomy software stacks for various aerospace and defense applications, including ISR, munitions, and tactical systems.
- Document technical work and collaborate on research publications, white papers, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
