Role Overview :

This role will be focused on strategically optimizing inbound marketing channels and tactics to attract qualified leads and drive sustainable business growth through thought leadership assets and analyst reports, as well as by partnering with digital, growth, and organic social teams to leverage and optimize inbound channels, with a strong emphasis on data analysis to continually refine and improve lead generation efforts.

We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Inbound Optimization Lead to strategically enhance our inbound marketing efforts. This role focuses on driving lead generation with thought leadership and analyst reports, and optimizing inbound marketing channels and tactics to attract qualified leads, drive TOFU conversion, and support sustainable business growth.

As part of the Journey Optimization team within the Global Demand Generation Center, the Inbound Optimization Lead will play a pivotal role in filling the top of the funnel, ensuring a seamless customer journey, and delivering measurable impact on global campaigns.

Key responsibilities might include :

  • Own the promotional plan and activation of Okta and Auth0 thought leadership assets and relevant analyst reports.
  • Analyze and improve global TOFU campaigns, driving engagement and filling the funnel with high quality leads.
  • Work with the digital team to review and optimize inbound traffic channels to attract and convert qualified leads.
  • Work with the growth team to implement and test web optimization strategies to improve user experience and conversion rates for global campaign resources and landing pages.
  • Work with the organic social team to ensure proper coverage of global campaign content, and understand organic performance and areas of opportunity.
  • Identify opportunities to scale successful inbound strategies across regions and campaigns, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in execution.
  • Share learnings and best practices globally to elevate the performance of inbound marketing efforts.
  • Leverage data analysis to evaluate inbound marketing channel performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Help with forecasting global campaign lead volume and conversion rates across various channels and regions.
  • Benchmark campaign performance against industry and internal best practices to uncover opportunities for scalability and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Experience : 5 years in digital marketing or inbound marketing, with a strong focus on lead generation, SEO, and campaign optimization.
  • Strong understanding of inbound marketing principles and best practices
  • Analytical Skills : Proven ability to analyze campaign performance data, identify insights, and implement data-driven improvements.
  • Technical Expertise : Proficiency in reporting and analytics tools ( Tableau, Google Analytics), and marketing platforms (, Marketo, Salesforce).
  • Strategic Thinking : Ability to conceptualize and execute strategies that drive TOFU engagement and lead conversion.
  • Collaboration : Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and regions.
  • Preferred : Experience in organic social media strategy and website performance optimization.

    Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.     The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between : $103,000—$155,000 USD
