SUMMARY
The Social Media Videographer/Photographer is responsible for updating the social media calendar, posting daily to all resort social channels, responding to guest comments and questions, grow and develop current channels, increase video presence on YouTube, contribute and manage blog and implement and track social media promotions. In addition to the above aforementioned duties the Social Media Coordinator will assist the Marketing Manager in projects, collection and summarization of social media data, take part in executing marketing goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Works directly with the Multimedia Manager to ensure social media is up to date constantly monitoring social media posts and traffic, responding to social media inquiries, questions.
Researches and formulates a social media strategy based on latest market trends.
Proactively manages all social media channels and ensures frequent and quality information is being generated. Social media channels including (but not limited to): Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, Google
Produces and/or edits the creation of short videos for promotion through social media channels.
Reviews and responds to user feedback on internet and social media.
Works closely with department managers to facilitate their needs related to PR, Marketing, Social media, website.
Documents and archives all photography, media coverage and press releases.
Monitors website for overall look, brand consistency, content, and function to ensure company standards are met.
Initiates steps to grow client e-mail database from local and repeat customers and ensure the successful creation and distribution of effective marketing to this channel
Works closely with Design Review Committee and Content Review Committee and coordinates all graphic and design projects for timely approval and implementation.
Monitors to ensure that all resort graphics for both marketing and retail have received proper approval.
