Job Details
Job Summary : Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Responsibilities : Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Complexity of Work : Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Personal Protective Equipment : Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Job Requirements
Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
Required for all travelers. Preferred to be completed prior to start, can be completed onsite.
Documentation of vaccination series completion OR documentation of declination to vaccine to be signed and dated by traveler.
1st PPD within 1 year, 2nd PPD within 30 days of start.
Verification of education relevant to candidate’s clinical work. Must be completed within 90 days of start.
Additional Details
Must be AHA.
Must be AHA / American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program
HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics. Completed within a year of start updated yearly.
