Job Details
Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Implements and monitors patient care plans.
Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Job Requirements
Current Oklahoma RN license or compact license.
BLS certification required.
ACLS certification required within 30 days of start.
Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
Schedule Information
Travel position with a contract length of 13 weeks.
Unit Specific Information
Neuro / Trauma ICU unit.
Additional Details
Documented proof of two MMR vaccines or Positive IGG Titer required.
Fit Test required for all travelers, preferred to be completed prior to start.
Documentation of vaccination series completion or declination required.
Flu season is October 1, 2024 through March 31, 2025; exemptions accepted but masks required.
Health Statement required prior to first assignment.
