Honolulu estate planning law firm seeks to hire a receptionist/estate planning legal assistant. The law firm is made up of highly competent, congenial attorneys and staff who work as a team in a pleasant environment.
Responsibilities: answer phone, schedule appointments, greet clients, explain legal documents and assist clients with the signing of documents, notarize (as soon as notary license is obtained); print, photocopy, file, mail, and electronically file documents; communicate with clients in writing and verbally; monitor the progress of cases. At times it may be necessary to run errands and perform other common office tasks. Legal experience is preferred, but not required. We need someone highly intelligent, with a strong work ethic--someone who can learn quickly, follow instructions, and stay for the long term. A notary license would be a plus.
Skills: must have good word processing skills and ability to learn to use office software quickly and well.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
