Our Plate Technician will be responsible for operating machines that manage our polymer plate creation for the printing industry.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Our Plate Technician will be responsible for operating machines that manage our polymer plate creation for the printing industry.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Physically demanding job dealing with expensive equipment & materials
- Ability to stand-up or sit down for extended periods of time to complete order-entry work
- Stabilize the material for carrying
- Provide instructions/notes to external printers
- Review job ticket instructions to determine requirements of job production
- Evaluate job proofs to digital files to ensure quality control
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, as needed
Qualifications Include:
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Technology background or experience preferred
- Outstanding mathematical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- General understanding of major printing methods (Flexo, Gravure, Offset) preferred
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50-65 lbs. regularly
- Independently carry a 50” x 80” polymer plate
- Ability to work overtime on the weekends required
- Schedule: first 6 months will be regular days (M-F 8-5) then once trained, position will be 2nd shift
