Overview
Old Brick Furniture is seeking a detail-oriented Digital Merchandiser to support our Marketing, Digital Experience, Ecommerce, and Sales teams. This role is responsible for accurately managing and optimizing product listings on OldBrick.com - the first brand and product experience for Old Brick customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and interest in digital merchandising, user experience, and e-commerce best practices to enhance site navigation and drive purchase conversions
RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Management & Optimization
- Execute digital merchandising strategies, ensuring accurate product listings, including titles, images, descriptions, attributes, etc.
- Maintain and update product content to reflect the most accurate pricing, specifications, and imagery.
- Ensure timely execution of product flows from merchandising and purchasing to digital execution.
- Collaborate with Merchandising/Product teams and manufacturing partners to source necessary product information.
- Continually enhance and optimize product copy and content in order to maintain relevant data.
- Maintain weekly website inventory reports.
- Oversee image selection and processing, including sourcing from manufacturers and utilizing in-house photo editing tools.
- Create landing pages as needed.
- Manage and audit current feeds on website. Research and vet new partner product fees to add to website. Own and contribute to the growth of this category.
User Experience & Conversion Optimization
- Monitor and analyze sales data to optimize product visibility and conversion rates. - Ensure that site navigation and search functions are intuitive and effective for customers.
- Conduct showroom-site audits to ensure alignment between in-store and online experiences.
- Monitor customer reviews and implement product page improvements based on feedback.
- Monitor analytics and metrics making recommendations for improvement and highlighting growth and successes of Digital Merchandising work.
- Make data-driven decisions in order to promote the relevant products and campaigns.
Cross Department Collaboration
- Build a relationship and work closely with the Merchandising/Product team to understand product assortment.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Social Media teams to make recommendations on products for promotions and marketing pieces.
- Become familiar with manufacturing partners and 3rd party vendors (website, photography partner, etc.)
- Engage in regular sales product training to learn product features to best merchandise them for the digital experience.
- Monitor and anticipate new digital merchandising trends and winning tactics.
- Own donations, making recommendations based on organizations to support and choosing product.
E-Commerce Order Processing & Customer Engagement
- Assist with processing and scheduling eCommerce orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- On designated days, respond promptly to chats and info emails, providing excellent customer support.
- Utilize customer inquiries to refine product recommendation skills and improve personalization.
- Leverage real-time customer data and feedback to optimize website performance and enhance product offerings.
Competitor & Market Analysis
- Conduct regular competitor pricing and digital merchandising audits.
- Stay up to date on e-commerce and merchandising trends, making data-driven recommendations.
- Partner with marketing and social media teams to recommend products for promotions.
- Assist with e-commerce customer engagement (chat, email inquiries, and product recommendations).

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
