DESCRIPTION:
The Township of Old Bridge is seeking an experienced MIS Manager to work under the general direction of the Business Administrator and/or designee. The selected candidate must possess the following: strong leadership, attention to detail, written and oral communication, analytical, problem-solving skills and highly motivated and customer service orientated.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- · Planning computer and network operations
- · Business analysis and user requirements gathering
- · Monitoring and diagnosing network and hardware problems
- · Workflow analysis, development of project plans
- · System testing, user training and support
- · Developing and purchasing new applications
- · Improving existing applications, installing hardware and software designing
- · Maintaining the Township's website
- · Manages, develops, implements, plans, organizes, monitors, and directs multiple or large projects, initiatives, and business deliverables.
- · Lead IT department operational planning and projects, organize and negotiate the allocation of IT resources
- · Work alongside management to identify, recommend, and develop systems requirements for new technology as well as implementing and supporting cost-effective technology solutions for all departments within the organization
- · Oversee all reports and documentation related to network and systems operations
- · Develop maintenance schedules for network and systems equipment
- · Conduct system feasibility studies and testing
- · Develop and manage Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans
- · Performs related duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- · Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and five years of professional or program management experience which shall have included responsibility for program development and/or implementation and the achievement of program goals and three years of supervision of staff
- · Certifications in: Microsoft Server/Desktop, SQL, O365 and Cisco
- · Strong technical knowledge of Dell/EMC SAN, HyperV virtualization, Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory Users, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy,
- · Extensive application support experience with HyperV, Office 365, PostGreSQL, Linux and ESRI GIS platforms
- · Understanding or experience in .NET, HTML 5, MS SQL, JavaScript, AJAX, ASP, SharePoint, Visual Studio, VBscript and Project Management
- · Proven experience in IT infrastructure design, planning and development
- · Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
