Under the direction of the Senior Program Director, the Program Director of Priority Populations is responsible for oversight of the delivery of quality case management services to Priority Populations in the areas of casework, parenting education and referral to appropriate community resources as well as maintaining files for the CCFA system. In this capacity, the Program Director of Priority Populations oversees 2-3 case managers/program facilitators (a direct service role). The Program Director of Priority Populations ensures timely assessment of all individual client needs and ensures thorough collaborations with families, DCF and the school system to develop appropriate individualized service plans for clients. Program Director of Priority Populations will also serve as a facilitator for the ongoing weekly group support sessions.
Requirements:EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
- Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in education, childcare, human services or social work settings.
- Able to lift 30 pounds
- Must be able to sit down, stand up, walk up and down stairs and bend over during the course of the day
- Must provide proof of driver's license, vehicle insurance and unattested driving record
- Experience w/Microsoft office suite. Suite includes word, excel, access and PowerPoint.
