Warehouse Chute Worker
Location : Old Dutch Foods
Days : Monday - Friday
Hours : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
As a Warehouse Chute Worker at Old Dutch Foods, you will be responsible for removing cases of product from the chute conveyor coming from the plant and placing them in the appropriate row location in the warehouse.
Major Job Duties :
Transfer boards from the board return system onto the skate wheel conveyor.
Retrieve products from the chute and position them on the board at the specified location.
Arrange products according to the designated stacking pattern.
Collect and remove all assigned products.
Collaborate as a team to efficiently relocate and position all products to their designated destinations.
Qualifications :
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to coordinate and efficiently remove daily production items from the chute conveyor.
Proficient in interpreting and comprehending box labels.
Essential Job Functions :
Accurately allocate product placement within designated rows by interpreting box markings.
Demonstrated ability to sustain a rapid operational pace throughout the entirety of the workday.
Consistently available to work 8-hour shifts, five days a week, with flexibility for overtime and Saturday shifts as required.
Exemplary record of attendance reliability.
Capable of prolonged walking and / or standing throughout the workday, in a dusty cardboard environment.
Perform tasks at or above shoulder level for 30% of the workday.
Engage in overhead work for 20% to 25% of the workday.
Bend for 35% of the workday.
Reach out with arms extended from the body for 80% of the workday.
Manipulate and grasp objects with hands for 80% of the workday.
Continuously lift weights ranging from 4 to 30 pounds.
Occasionally lift weights up to 35 pounds.
Maintain continuous work activity in intervals of 2 to 2.5 hours, repeated four times per day.
