Description
The Banquet Server/Bartender is part of a team that executes banquets and events, including set-up, service and breakdown. The person in this role must be detail oriented and focus directly on execution of events with an emphasis on quality and customer service that will ensure guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Works with Banquet Team to execute Old Edwards events including, event venue/bar set-up, table settings, steps of service, beverage service, buffet set-up, food running, etc.
- Maintain knowledge of banquet alcohol and food menu options.
- Maintain Inventory of banquet supplies.
- Follow protocols for serving and handling food and beverage.
- Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe and secure environment.
- Provide quick service for last minute changes.
- Handle guest issues and requests in a timely and effective manner or notify the manager on duty if unable to assist.
- Due to the nature of this position, confidentiality is always required
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the Banquet Manager
Qualifications
- Server/Hospitality experienced preferred
- Must be 18 or older(21 to make/serve mixed drinks)
- Must be professional and have strong communication skills
- Must work well with teams
- Must be reliable and flexible to align with varied work schedules
