Dining and Banquet Server
Reports To: Banquet Captain/Events Specialist/General Manager/Owner
As a banquet server your schedule will be based on the demands of the facility. Shifts are primarily weekday afternoons and weekends.
As a banquet server you provide a vital service to the guests. You are responsible for setting up guest tables, buffets, serving food and knowing what you are serving, cleaning up guest tables/buffets, and providing excellent customer service to exceed guests’ wants and needs.
As a banquet server you need to be on time for scheduled shifts. You also need to be professional and courteous when dealing with clients. While you are at work you are to be giving 100% of your attention to the needs of the customers.
Prior experience in customer service is a positive, but is not required.
There is a training period during which you will be shown the table and room set up, serving, and clean up using the procedures and checklists already in place. The training period will be approximately a week in length. There will also be mandatory training days scheduled at intervals throughout the season to refocus and refine skills and performance.

Compensation will be hourly. Compensation range in job post is a reflection of average hourly wage plus tips/gratuities.
